Mike and his dog Jake, the inspiration for the business name.
“I fell in love with Jake the first time I saw him. He has inspired me to follow my passion and by living in the now. So I left the banking industry after several years with a major corporation and thus Jake N Friends Pet Services was started. Jake N Friends Pet Services started with a single client and has steadily grown, but still with the same focus: the attention given to you and your pet(s) is our number one priority. Our passion lays in pet care and Jake N Friends is our vessel.”

“While growing up in Colorado, I had variety of animals, from dogs to cats to chickens. I enjoyed our Great Dane, Sheba, a big couch potato with a powerful tail, and Max, my beautiful Siamese cat who followed me everywhere as if he was a dog. Years later, I moved to Phoenix, my first dog, Shakiel, an amazing gentle Rottweiler who was loved by the neighborhood kids. After moving to Seattle came Sylvester, Twitter Bird (Moma) and Sammy , all beloved cats.”
A Brief History of Jake N Friends…
Mike fell in love with Jake the first time he saw him. Jake, a rescue dog that Mike adopted, inspired Mike to leave the busy banking industry to spend his days hanging out with the furry buddies of Seattlites full time. Mike now is able to do what he loves by taking care of the ones you love.
The staff at Jake N Friends attend workshops, networking events, and continue their educations through books, articles and courses. As pet owners, the staff understands the amount of time & resources required to provide a great quality of life for your furry family-member.
Now a few years into his business, Mike is expanding with Jake N Friends Small Dog Daycare for small dogs 35 lbs or less.
